Nobody much cares about anyone else, with few exceptions. They certainly don’t care about what others say, unless…
Unless it can be related to themselves… make them smarter… help them do something they can’t seem to master… or thought provoke, inspire, intrigue, make them laugh… or give them a new look on something essential to their well being.
That’s what I will be doing with my blog, so you will want to read it. And it will be short and to the point. Usually not much longer than the Gettysburg Address.
The DaVinci Code was a great best seller because it combined mystery and history with farfetched circumstances that could have happened. So did The Godfather. Both stories were fiction, but could have happened.
I will blog about conventional wisdom that are really fictions.
One of my favorite stories is the Emperor’s New Clothes. It’s good, but the reason I like it so much is because of its relevance in many of the situations I see when dealing with clients and the many others I interact with daily. I will blog about specifics in “authoritative” investing advice, running businesses, consulting, the media, accounting, tax policy, law and government. We are being dressed in naked threads, and I will prove to you that they are naked lies, or, at best, totally misinformed unthought out recommendations. I will give you tools of clear plain simple logic that will empower you to protect yourself and your financial and personal security.
