The Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015 (MACRA) law and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) implemented an incentive program, referred to as the Quality Payment Program (QPP). Under the program, the Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) allows MIPS-eligible clinicians to report progress on quality measures and are subject to performance-based payment adjustments.
Withum has the healthcare advisory professionals that are one of about 150 CMS-certified registries who can submit over 240 MIPS quality measures and all MIPS categories on behalf of clinicians. We provide consultation and submission services in addition to a comprehensive range of services and packages for clinicians to maximize their overall MIPS final score.
Withum has assisted over 12,000 clinicians from small practices, health systems, billing vendors, and EMR/EHR vendors in the submission of all value-based programs.
MIPS has a variety of categories and Withum’s team has the ability to submit to all of them (Quality, Cost, Improvement Activities, and Promoting Interoperability), and provide ongoing support to assess reporting while calculating a clinician’s or groups MIPS scores in real-time prior to CMS submission.
