Withum’s Cathy Bendall and Sareena Sawhney Named Crain’s 2020 New York Business Notable Women in Accounting and Consulting List

Withum is proud to announce that Crain’s New York Business named Team Members Cathy Bendall and Sareena Sawhney to their 2020 Notable Women in Accounting and Consulting List 2020.

Crain’s focuses their Notable Women in Accounting and Consulting report on candidates to excel in their personal careers, mentorships, and their participation in charitable organizations.

Cathy is a Partner at Withum and is Team Leader for the Firm’s Not-for-Profit and Education services. Crain’s recognized her for her work in these industries, as she has over 30 years of experience in highly-complex audits, operations and reporting for U.S.-based international nonprofit organizations. In her community, Cathy has served as a board member of Theater Works USA, Inc., and Anderson House, a New Jersey Rehabilitation Center and was a Leader and Service Team member of Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey for many years.

Sareena is a Principal in Withum’s Forensic and Valuation Services group. Recognized in the list for her work in Fraud Investigations and White Collar Litigations Matters, Sareena specializes in complex fraud investigations, forensic accounting and services related to commercial litigation and professional liability matters. She previously founded and led a Women’s Initiative Group at one of her prior firms that promoted the retention and professional development of women. Additionally, Sareena is a member of the Financial Women’s Association of New York.
