Brian Bender Named 40 Under 40 by Alexandria Chamber of Commerce

Withum is excited to share that Brian Bender, Partner and Team Leader of Withum’s Trade Associations and Membership Organizations Team, was named a 40 Under 40 Honoree by the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce.

Brian has over 20 years of experience serving trade associations, membership organizations, social clubs, foundations, charities, and numerous other nonprofit entities that include complex consolidations with for-profit subsidiary companies and political action committees. He leads Withum’s Not-for-Profit and Education Practice in the Washington, DC Metro Area.

He is dedicated to many philanthropic causes, including having served as a founding board member of Hero Dogs, Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to training and placing service dogs with disabled veterans. He is also an active advocate for working parents and holds a leadership position on Withum’s Parents Network, which aims to enhance the quality of work-life integration for those with children. He currently holds board positions on both the American Association of Suicidology and the Pennsylvania Society of Association Excellence, and serves on the audit committee of the Pittsburgh Foundation.

The Alexandria Chamber of Commerce 40 Under 40 list celebrates local professionals who have demonstrated excellence and success in their fields, as well as their impact on the community. Honorees were chosen from the private and public sectors. The chamber will celebrate the 40 Under 40 winners at an event on July 18.
