Hirsch is an emeritus partner in our New York City office specializing in estate & trust planning, estate & trust accountings, litigation support, charitable foundations and charitable planning. Prior to joining the firm, he was managing partner and chairman of taxation at EisnerLubin LLP until it joined into Withum in 2011.

Hirsch has written numerous articles on taxation and has lectured at the NYU Institute on Federal Taxation, the Heckerling Institute, the Practicing Law Institute and the NYSSCPA Society among others. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Jewish Museum in NYC. Hirsch has also served on the Board of Trustees of Albert Einstein College of Medicine and the Board of Trustees of Benjamin Cardozo School of Law. He was chairman of the Accountants Division of UJA-Federation.

He is a trustee of numerous client foundations. The most significant of these is the Beatrice & Samuel A. Seaver Foundation which was created by a firm client primarily to support medical research in NYC. The foundation established the Beatrice & Samuel A. Seaver Center for Autism Research and Treatment at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in NYC. He is extremely proud of the fact that the Seaver Center is internationally recognized as one of the most outstanding autism research and treatment centers.
