Eric has developed and managed holistic security programs for multiple large organizations including government, military and civilian. He has extensive architecture experience with DOD and commercial entities. He has penetration test experience with isolated systems, air-gapped systems and control systems, physical security in concert with cybersecurity, packet capture and analysis, custom packet creation and exploitation. Eric also has extensive client-facing experience as a technician and manager. Eric manages the development and implementation of hardening solutions to conform to PCI, HIPAA and DOD standards. He utilizes and enhances new and existing technologies to secure endpoints and manages and participates in multiple cyber security teams. Additionally, Eric has developed IT security programs from the ground up for DOD, PCI and other entities. He has strong experience in dealing with executives in regard to network security. He has created and managed the audit group in a DOD entity. He has experience in multiple management structures and methodologies and managing worldwide deployment and operations of security tools and programs. Eric has coordinated penetration testing efforts across hundreds of thousands of network assets, managed under-resourced teams to achieve large-scaled goals, multiple operational security teams in DOD and PCI environments and has a strong technical background and understanding.
Eric has is Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from Bellevue University. He completed Air Force Basic Training at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, Texas, Computer Systems Programmer, 3 Level at Keesler AFB, Biloxi, MS, Airman Leadership School, Distinguished Graduate, Dyess AFB, Abilene, TX, and Computer Systems Programmer, 7 Level, Keesler AFB in Biloxi, MS. Eric is GIAC Certified Incident Handler, GIAC Penetration Test and Security+.
