Story

Anupam is a senior manager with over 20 years of public accounting experience. He has extensive experience in internal audit consulting services and internal controls, risk management and fraud remediation engagements. Anupam manages a number of outsourced internal audit and 404 compliance engagements for the Firm.

In addition, he is a member of Withum's Audit, Risk and Compliance Services team and is responsible for business development of internal audit, risk management and internal control related consulting services.

Anupam's experience includes Sarbanes Oxley Compliance, implementation of COSO Internal Control Framework, risk and control assessment, internal process documentation, gap analysis and testing. He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), a licensed Certified Public Accountant, an Indian chartered accountant, and Certified Information Technology Practitioner (CITP).

Anupam has spoken on risk assessments, cybersecurity and other internal audit related topics. He is actively involved with the Institute of Internal Auditors and is currently Vice President of Programs for its Central Jersey chapter.

Anupam holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Bombay in India as well as his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Bombay.
