Webinar: TCJA: The Nitti Gritty on What We Know Now

As of the date of this webinar, we will be just about a month into our first tax season governed by the new Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, with its many changes, opportunities and risks, as well as an evolving landscape of guidance that—while thousands of pages long—raises more questions than answers regarding many key provisions.

Join Withum Tax Partner and Forbes tax policy blogger Tony Nitti for this third live session in his webinar series. Barring any major late-breaking developments in guidance, this will be Tony’s last tax update webinar of the season. He’ll walk you through some of the lessons learned in this first month of preparation under the new law, walk you through the latest guidance and help you master the calculations, spot opportunities, and avoid pitfalls and traps. A frequent speaker on all aspects of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, Tony has been following the evolution of this critical law closely since its inception and is ready to help you make sense of it for your clients this season.

Date: February 21, 2019
Time: 2PM – 4PM EST
(Registration will close at 1:30PM on 2/21)

After completing one or more of these courses you’ll be better prepared to:

  • Interpret the most recent guidance on TCJA, including any late-breaking developments up to the date of the program
  • Understand the current situation with respect to extenders, expiring provisions and implementation legislation
  • Navigate the complex guidance around Section 199A and Opportunity Zone Credits
  • Analyze the impacts of the newly released proposed regulations with respect to the new version of Section 163(j) (Limits on Deduction for Business Interest Expense) created by TCJA
  • Identify planning opportunities and risks in the context of specific client scenarios
