At Withum’s State of the Firm event, team members who have gone above and beyond the call of duty and demonstrated out-of-the-box thinking that have helped solve a client problem or office issue were recognized with Strength Award nominations. We would like to congratulate the winners of those categories.
General Assembly Team of Sumit Pal, Stephen Antenucci, Solomon Feraidoon and Salvatore Franchino: 2016-17 Leonard H. Smith Strength of Client Service Award Winners
The General Assembly Team has exhibited extraordinary acts of client service during a very large and very complex, multi-national client project. This engagement required over 10,500 hours of billable time over the course of 10 months. As a result of their personal sacrifices, the team completed reconstructed, from scratch, the company’s financial statements for two years within five countries.
Keishla Rodriguez: 2016-17 Administrative Strength Award Winner
Keishla rose to the challenge of becoming the office manager of a 100+ person office after a union of a large Orlando firm into Withum. Keishla has become a mentor for the administrative staff and oversees all admin functions, consistently looking for ways to make the office more efficient.
Anurag Sharma: 2016-17 Innovative Strength Award Winner
Anurag suggested the newly-issued NIST Cybersecurity Framework to one of the firm’s largest clients was concerned about their vulnerability to cyber attacks. Anurag led in implementing the methodology, providing a multi-tier reporting structure which would enable a detailed reporting framework and an executive level summary for the board and senior management.
Christina Lazaro: 2016-17 Community Strength Award Winner
Christina has been the event for the Monmouth & Ocean St. Jude Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer since 2012. Her commitment requires approximately 10-15 hours per month. For the second year in a row, Christina’s event raised $160,000 and she even attended the Volunteer Leadership Conference at St. Jude in Memphis this year, demonstrating her commitment to the cause.
Joseph Cassano: 2016-17 Marketing Strength Award Winner
Joe has demonstrated a significant commitment to sustain marketing excellence. Directly responsible for bringing in nearly $250,000 in revenue with his outstanding proposals. He has been a leading voice in the financial services sector, publishing three industry-related articles. Joe is also a co-contributor to Withum’s Alternative Investment Fund Pro-Forma Financial Statement Reference Manuals for 2015 and 2016.
Jarrod Rhen: 2016-17 Frederick S. Withum Outstanding Achievement Award Winner
Jarrod’s ability to understand and teach complex issues has made him a thought leader on a national level, booking speaking engagements and workshops. His built-in reputation has a technical expert, with a passion for his work and a willingness to develop new and creative solutions, Jarrod continually displays a positive attitude and always looks to build consensus with staff and clients alike.
Ruben Cardona: 2016-17 Ivan C. Brown Withum Way Award Winner
Ruben has been honored with this CEO-selected recognition for his dedication and outstanding efforts in the areas of client service, community service and staff mentorship. He is highly regarded in the business community by his clients and the not-for-profit organizations which he supports, being an advocate for multicultural diversity in the workplace. He is a true gentleman and has been a long-time go-to mentor to staff of all ages, including our managing partner.
