James P. Mulroy - CPA, PSA, CGFM, Partner

Jim is a partner based in our firm’s New Brunswick, NJ, office and has over 20 years of public accounting experience. He is a licensed certified public accountant in the states of New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Additionally, he is a licensed public school accountant and certified government financial manager. Jim specializes in HUD auditing as well as audits in the not-for-profit and distribution industries.

A graduate of Mount Saint Mary’s College, Jim graduated with a BS degree in accounting. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA); the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA), where he is active on the Member Not-For-Profit Interest Group; the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA); and the Association of Governmental Accountants (AGA). Prior to joining WS+B, he was a partner with M.D. Oppenheim & Company, P.C. (merged with WS+B in 2007).

Jim is an active member of the international board and immediate past president of the Americas Group Chapter of the International Association of Practicing Accountants. He resides in Somerset County, NJ.
