John J. Krystofik - CPA, Partner

A partner based in WS+B’s Morristown, NJ, office, John has more than 30 years of public accounting experience. He is a licensed certified public accountant in the state of New Jersey and has diverse experience in corporate, individual, partnership, trust/estate and private foundation taxes. John serves a variety of clients including closely-held businesses in real estate, advertising and professional services.

John received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Montclair State University, NJ. He has attended advanced tax courses in the Master of Tax Program at Bernard M. Baruch School of Business in New York City and is a former member of the New York City tax department of KPMG Peat Marwick. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA), New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) and the Cooperation with IRS Committee. John is also a member of the Estate Planning Council of Northern New Jersey and a former member of the New York City tax department of KPMG Peat Marwick. In addition, he was formerly co-editor of the “Money Management” column published in various newspapers throughout New Jersey.

John is involved in a number of community service activities. He is a past board member of the Center for Hope Hospice and Palliative Care, where he served from 1996 until 2010. He is also involved with Rachel’s Vineyard Ministries, which deals with trauma victims. Additionally, John is a member of the Catholic Campus Ministry Board for the Archdiocese of Newark, which represents approximately ten colleges and universities in New Jersey including Seton Hall and Montclair State. John resides in Union County, New Jersey.
