Marietta Bennett is a partner in the firm’s Morristown, NJ office, and is a licensed certified public accountant in the states of New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania, as well as a licensed public school accountant in New Jersey. She has over 35 years experience in public accounting, including audits of not-for-profit organizations, manufacturers, benefit plans and various service providers. Marietta specializes in audits of not-for-profit entities, including schools, charities, trade associations and benefit plans and reviews and compilations of closely-held businesses, various associations and professional service firms. She is a member of WS+B's Not-for-Profit and Education Services Group, the Professional Services Group, and Team Leader of the Litigation Fund Administration Group in the firm's Litigation Advisory Services Group.
Marietta graduated cum laude from Brooklyn College with a bachelor’s degree in economics. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA), where she has served on the not-for-profit committee. Before joining WS+B in 2005, Marietta served as quality control director at Gershon, Pierce, Lissak & Company. Prior to that, she worked at Alexander Grant & Company (now Grant Thornton).
Marietta currently serves as trustee for 20 litigation funds and oversees the administration of these funds. She is the treasurer and Board Member of Montgomery Academy, a private school for the disabled in Peapack, NJ, and also treasurer of the Montgomery Foundation.
