Barry is a partner in our Red Bank, NJ, office. He has more than 35 years of professional experience with a strong accounting background in a variety of industries, including real estate development, health care, not-for-profit, service organizations and entertainers. A licensed certified public accountant in the state of New Jersey, Barry was previously employed with the Internal Revenue Service, where he was responsible for audit functions.
He is a graduate of Rider University, where he received his bachelor's degree in accounting. Barry is a highly active member of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA); he is chairman of the NJSCPA’s Tax Resource Committee, which oversees all of that organization’s tax committees, chairman of the NJSCPA’s State Tax Committee and a member of the NJSCPA’s IRS Co-op Committee. In addition, he formerly served as statewide trustee, treasurer and vice president of the NJSCPA. He is a member of the National Association of Management Accountants, the National Association of Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
Barry is a lifelong community and civic leader. He is active in many charitable organizations, including the American Cancer Society and the Ronald McDonald House, Long Branch, NJ, where he serves as committee chair of the Audit Committee and member of the Executive Board. He is Vice President of Monmouth Park Charities Allocation Committee; former president and current member of the President's Council of Temple Beth Torah, Ocean, NJ; board member of Public Company First Montauk Securities; and a board member of the Jewish Federation of Monmouth County PAC. Barry was also instrumental in establishing the West Long Branch Sports Association. He resides in Monmouth County, NJ.
