Irv Schwarzbaum - CPA, MBA, CIRA, CFE, CFF, CICA, Principal

Irv Schwarzbaum is a licensed New Jersey and New York certified public accountant, a certified insolvency and restructuring advisor, a certified fraud examiner and certified in financial forensics. Based in WS+B's Paramus office, he has over 20 years of experience in the profession and specializes in bankruptcy, turnaround and crisis management, forensic accounting, mergers and acquisitions, litigation support and expert testimony. Irv has been involved in numerous high-profile cases including Enron, Thornberg Mortgage, and Ciena Capital. He has also served as interim CEO, COO and CFO of several companies.

Irv graduated magna cum laude from New York University, with a master’s degree (MBA) in finance and a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), New York Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSCPA), American Institute of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors (AIRA), the Association of Fraud Examiners (ACFE), and the Turnaround Management Association (TMA).

He resides in Essex County, NJ.
