Kimberlee will be honored by two fantastic New Jersey-based professional women’s associations:
Taryn has been named among New Jersey’s Best 50 Women in Business by NJBIZ, honored for her efforts as a strong female professional at WS+B and for her leadership role with WLDI, as well as the many community outreach initiatives with which she is involved. Kimberlee S. Phelan - CPA, MBA, Partner
Based in our Princeton office, Kimberlee is a tax partner with over 15 years of accounting and tax experience. Her expertise lies in federal, state and local tax issues affecting corporations, partnerships and individuals. She concentrates her efforts on special projects such as corporate tax research and planning, inbound and outbound international structuring, individual tax and executive compensation planning.
A graduate of Wellesley College with a bachelor's degree cum laude in economics and international relations, Kimberlee also earned an MBA in accounting and finance from the John E. Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA. As mentioned previously, she is the founder of WS+B's Women’s Leadership Development Initiative (WLDI), whose mission is to attract, retain and advance women leaders in the Firm.
Taryn M. Bostjancic - CPA, Partner
Taryn is a partner based in our Firm’s New Brunswick office with over 18 years of public accounting experience. She is a certified public accountant in the states of New Jersey and Michigan and holds practice privileges in California. A graduate of The College of New Jersey, she specializes in accounting, auditing and consulting services for clients in the life science, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, software, technology, and service industries. In addition, Taryn provides both consulting and auditing services to the firm's SEC clients and serves as the Firm’s Team Leader for the SEC Compliance and Reporting niche.
Within the Firm, Taryn is also a member of the Steering Committee and the Chair of the Operational Committee for the Women’s Leadership Development Initiative (WLDI).
On a Friday morning in early December, some 150 accountants and staff boarded a Manhattan-bound R train. It's doubtful any of their fellow commuters guessed they were all from the CPA firm of WithumSmith+Brown. That is, until the dancing started.
