Three professionals from the Morristown office of WithumSmith+Brown Certified Public Accountants and Consultants, recently received recognition of the “highest order”. In a private ceremony held at Cathedral High School, NYC, on July 14th, Archbishop Celestino Migliore, President of the Path to Peace Foundation, recognized Scott Mariani, JD, partner, Anthony Panico, CPA, partner, and Sharon Cross, CPA, senior manager, for their generosity in providing pro-bono work to the foundation. Also among the group being honored was Catherine Warbrick, formerly with WS+B but who is now employed with Far Hills Country Day School. Mariani, who led the team’s effort, was bestowed the Papal Honor of the Knight of the Order of Saint Gregory the Great. Panico, Cross and Warbrick were awarded the Benemerenti medal.
“This is a tremendous honor, and we are all humbled,” says Mariani. "Our firm’s culture encourages us to give back to the communities we serve, and we feel privileged to support an organization like Path to Peace Foundation.”
