WithumSmith+Brown Wins National Marketing Award
WithumSmith+Brown was honored by the Association for Accounting Marketing with a Marketing Achievement Award (AAM-MAA) at the organization’s 20th Annual Conference held in Austin, Texas on June 4, 2009.
Accounting firms from around the country participate in the awards program, which recognizes outstanding achievements in the areas of accounting marketing and communications. WS+B won in the category of “Multi-Media - over $15 million annual revenue”.
“This is a great honor for the firm to win this prestigious award at a national level,” says Cate Scaglione, Director of Marketing and Practice Growth at WS+B . “It’s also a true testament to the power of our ‘Be in a Position of Strength’ campaign and the people who live it… our loyal staff and valued clients.”
The marketing effort which garnered the recognition was a sponsored event video spotlighting the firm’s stars and their areas of expertise, as well as its brand message. The video also offered inspiring quotes from business icons, such as Warren Buffet and Albert Schweitzer. The video was produced by Seth Mellman of SMP Video, Princeton.
A panel of judges, including professionals in advertising, consulting, professional services and marketing, judged 228 entries in 20 different categories. Accounting firms from all over the United States and Canada competed in two divisions — under $15 million in revenues and over $15 million in revenues. Categories included Web site design, collateral/identity materials, niche business development and print advertising for CPA firms. This was the 15th year the annual awards were presented.
