Jay's Journey to Raise Awareness for Histiocytosis

From Princeton, NJ to Hong Kong, China to Katmandu, Nepal to Mt. Everest, follow along and support Jay Sexton’s journey to raise money for histiocytosis in Miles for Myles.

An avid hiker and friend to Myles Clapsadl’s family, he was inspired by Myles’ courage in his struggle with histiocytosis and encouraged by his wife, Katy, to use his passion to help bring awareness to this rare orphan disease which receives no government funding.

Joined by 7 other hikers, he will take on the feat of climbing 18,700 feet to the summit of peak, Kala Patar, several hundred feet above base camp on Mt. Everest. The trek will be led by Ferry Erdmann, a cultural anthropologist from the Netherlands and will have the opportunity to meet and lodge with various native Nepal tribes during the ascent. You can join in on Jay’s adventure and progress by visiting Miles for Myles.
